Can FP Web Components chart Form results on the web?

I am having great difficulty charting Form survey results using FP Web
Components (Insert>Web Component>Spreadsheets & Charts>Office Chart) because
FP is not allowing me to select the Form's Access database on my published
website's server. However, FP WILL allow me to select the same database on my
local computer. When I do so, the charting component works fine. I am
assuming that Web Components ARE able to access a database on a web server,
right? My provider assures me that all FP components are loaded, and database
support is provided.

This MS describes EXACTLY what I want to do, and seems to suggest that I can
select a database on my web server (mine is in the fpdb subdir):

I am using FP 2002 SP3

The Charting component are not part of the FP extensions. Does your web host have the Office Web
Components installed or enabled?

According to them, yes, they do. But I'm also told that the web components
are required to reside on the client (browser) side. Which they are as well
(at least on my workstation). As I said, I can attach to a database on my
local network and the web components function fine. Just not on the internet
(grrr).

However, I just found a webpage which addresses this question using ASP.NET
-- but the process seems like gobbledy-gook to a non-DBer like me. I would
need some serious step-by-step handholding...

Internet users via a DMZ or Internet-exposed server), or an environment where
users do not have direct connectivity to the data source can be accomplished
through ASP.NET"
