Can folders be made private?

I move many of the emails I wish to keep to folders I've created (sub
folders of INBOX).

Is there anyway or any add-on that will allow me to designate some of
these folders as private? In other words, stop other users from
viewing emails filed away in specific folders.

You can either password protect the entire .pst file or not. There is no
utility to allow the protection of individual folders. To use a password,
right click on the root of your .pst file and select properties, then
advanced. Set your password from there.

Thanks for the reply.

I personally would have found the option to password protect
individual folders very useful - I liken it to being able to lock one
drawer of a filing cabinet!
