Can excel recognize a name (U01140) with multi parts for inventory

I use U numbers for my products when they are ordered
and they have mutilple parts.
I'am trying set up my inventory in Excel.
 
Recognize? In Excel that is text. Perhaps if you explained more fully
what you are trying to do with "part numbers" someone can help.
