Can drop down text boxes be placed on top of Pictures in word ?

I have a dusty copy of a form which I need to fill in on a regular basi
which I have scanned into a TIF file and inserted into a Word document.

I'm familiar with creating text boxes to complete the sections withi
the form that I have to fill in. BUT, is there such a thing as a dro
down text box in Word 2000 ? The idea being that each drop down tex
box has a series of options from which I can choose a piece of text t
fill in the boxes on top of the scanned form. Once done, I can sen
this off by fax from my laptop to whomsoever should recieve it.

Creating an electronic copy of the form is not an option as I'm in n
position to create and distribute this form.

Does anyone have any ideas please ?

Thanks

Display the FORMS toolbar. You'll find a button to insert a Dropdown
formfield on this toolbar, along with the textbox and checkbox buttons.
Double-click the field to open its Options dialog box; you can create
up to 25 entries for the dropdown list.

Note that you'll only be able to use the list after you've protected
the document as a form (Tools/Protect document) and that the dropdown
arrow won't display unless the focus is in the dropdown field.
