Can data be in different colors on reports?

I need to color code data appearing on an access report. Each department's
personnel is in a different color and would like to see each department
printed in a different color. Is this possible, with conditional formatting.
I know you can do it on a form, but how about an access report.

Conditional formatting in a report works the same as in a form.
In report design view, select the text box, and choose CF on the Format
menu.

Of course, that won't work if you have more than 3 departments. In that
case, you would need to use the Format event procedure of the Section to set
the ForeColor of the control.
