I have a user on an NT workstation who has no problems
browsing the internal network, but can't browse the
internet. When IE connects, it says it finds the site and
attempts to connect, but it just sits and runs and runs
without getting anywhere.
- I have upgraded it from IE5.5 to 6 with no change.
- I can ping websites and get replies (i.e ping
www.yahoo.com comes back with 216.109.118.79 correctly)
- I have reloaded the TCP\IP protocol with no change.
- I have reloaded NetBEUI with no change even though he
probably doesn't need it.
- I can ping and resolve everything internally and can
ping the firewall.
- His login script only maps 2/3 of his drives on this
workstation and he can browse to all of the drives he
needs mapping to.
Has anyone seen anything like this, or have any ideas
what's causing it? Thanks.
