i had posted a question about my start up sound and have spoken to a
microsoft tech,but they couldnt help me fix the start up problem which is the
sound comes out distorted,i wanted to know if anyone else has this problem
and does it have anything to do with this error i get,if you can help me out
to fix this,i believe this is what is causing my start up sound to be
distorted,i would really appreciate the help
 
go to control panel and then audio devices find control devices if you have
put it to 96khz and then put it to 24bit or if your using your built in sound
card check for updates
 
ok thank you both for your help,but i still have the problem,in the event id
web site it really doesnt tell me how to fix the problem,and i did check my
audio devices everything is fine there,any other suggestions
