Can anyone tell me what this Driver is for?

it seems to be the cause (?) of my blue screen of death
repeatedly happening.
Any help would be appreciated

MRxSmb is the SMB mini-redirector that has secure SMB

capabilities in Windows 2000 - a critical part of the
system. There are lots of references to it in the
Microsoft knowledgebase and it appears to be a frequent
cause of blue screens - and the answer is often to get the
latest service pack. Check out the Microsoft site.
