be exported to a flat file (comma or tab delimited)? For
instance, getting a flat file with their user ID that
includes fileds like the user first and last names?

You can also use ldifde to export (and import) information from your A/D

237677 Using LDIFDE to Import and Export Directory Objects to Active
Directory
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=237677

will show you how.
