Hi all,

I'd like to use calendar type public folders to book cars, rooms and display
their availability.
My problem is that when I book a room, other users can do it either during
the same period of time. I don't know how to make the reservation exclusive.

Is there a way to do it ??

Thanks in advance for your answers, greeting, Cyril

http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/skedresource.htm has some excellent
suggestions. I would not use a Public Folder for this ever.

Hi,
The way that web site tell us to do is the one we're using now.
Users don't use it, they found it to complicated to carry on (Don't think
they are stupid, we'd never be able to do their job) and i agree with them.
A public folder is a great invention for them. They don't need a
two-days-classe to know how to use it.
I've built a public folder "Resources" and inside I've made publics
calendars for each room. They check if it's available or not, and they book
it if they want. Easy...
But my boss told me: "great but one can book a room the same time another
one!".

Did any Microsoft programmers think about that very common situation???

Thank you, Cyril
