Calendar going black...

I have a calendar in Excel that pops up when someone pressed a buttom
to pre-fill a range automatically, makes it easy and fast to use the
spreadsheet.

Recently the calendar is turning all black and I can't see anything,
what is causing this, I didn't change anything on my desktop, like
video setting or anything like that.

problem went away after i reinstalled the Office suite, so maybe some
library file was
curropted or something.
