I p[osted this in Calendaring, but there was no response.

Is there a way to create a Calendar template for appointments?

Of specific interest is setting default selections such as "private", and
category, with default reminders for each.

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you for your response. How do I create the template? I could not find
this on any of the menus in Outlook 2003.

Yes, it is the same process as template/form design for emails.

What do you mean? File-> Save as-> *.oft
Or publish the form.
How are you doing things now for email templates then?

I have not used templates before. All e-mail is done in Word, with Autotext
entries for templates. How do I create a calendar appointment template? Or
e-mail for that matter?

One method is;
Create an email/appointment, make the modifications you want, File-> Save
As-> *.oft

That works well, I have created a series of templates for each type I use.

Thank you!
