How can i efectively zoom out the calendar week view in outlook 2007 so the
screen shows more than 8:00 am to 6:30 pm? My old version of outllok (2002)
showed the evening hours as well as the work day.

it should show the full 24 hours. What view do you use? What is the time
scale? If the screen is small and the scale large you'll need to scroll to
see more.

sorry dianne...had to step away for a while.

to answer your question from yersterday...i'm using the week view with the
default 30 minute intervals. my outlook 2002 displayed from 8:00 am all the
way through 10:30 pm with the same settings while 2007 version only shows
from 8:00 am through 5:00 pm because it sizes the 30 minute spaces larger
thus fitting fewer of them in the view. I realize i can scroll down to view
the later intervals but is there some way i can effectively zoom this view
out so i can fit more intervals in the initial display area?

You can try changing the font used for the time scale - right click on the
calendar and choose other settings. The time font is 16 pt I think - try 10.
Switch to mail folder then back to calendar to refresh the view. If that
doesn't help (I can't see a difference), you'll either need to make the
calendar area larger (turn off status bar, toolbars, tasks area etc or use a
higher resolution) or scroll - or use a different time scale.

changing font size did nothing as you anticipated. i gained one line by
eliminating the taskbar but other than that i don't seem to be able to expand
the hours displayed. any final thoughts before i throw in the towel?
