Calendar continues sending appointment messages to the Deleted Items folder

Hi,

I have a user who reports her Calendar (Outlook 2000) continues sending
appointment messages to the Deleted Items folder. Server is Exchange 5.5
SP4 server. Any thoughts?

Do they get added to the calendar before they are deleted? Does this person
have the Resource Scheduling option under Tools->Options->Caledar set to
automatically accept? Also, does the person have the option set to delete
blank and voting options turned on?

One last thing to check, does the user have any rules defined that affect
appointment items?

Milly, here are his answers. DO you know where problem is? I am not an
Outlook expert.

1) Do these appointments get added to the calendar before they are deleted?

These appointments have been added to the calendar before they have been
automatically sent to my Deleted Items folder.

2) Do you have the Resource Scheduling option under Tools->Options->Calendar
set to automatically accept?

No.

3) Do you have the option set to delete blank and voting options turned on?

Unsure. How do I check this feature?

4) One last thing to check, do you have any Outlook rules defined that
affect appointment items?

No.

Point number one is the answer and is the default behavior. Once the
appointment has been accepted and moved to the calendar, there is no need
for the calendar item to remain visible. It is on the calendar.

How do we turn off this default? It keeps sending unwanted calendar
appointment messages to the Deleted Items folder.
