Calendar bolded dates in left hand pane

K

Ken->

Some of the dates are bolded in the left hand pane and those dates all have
events, but not all date that have events are bolded. I can't see a pattern
of what kind of events get bolded and what kind do not.
Is this something that can be set?

Hi Ken,

The Outlook calendar should only bold dates on which you have appointments scheduled. To check this setting. follow the steps below.

Open Outlook
Click on your calendar
On the menu bar, click on View > Arrange By > Current View > Customize Current View
Click the "Other Settings" button
Make sure the "Bolded dates in Date Navigator represent days containing items" is checked.

If your calendar contains dates that have appointments but are not bolded, please reply and let me know if these have anything in common. For example, are they simply all day events
with no time associated to them?

Scott,
I found that the ones that were bolded had a start and end time that were
different and the ones that were not bolded were either all day events or
had a start time and end time set at the same time (zero elapsed time). I
guess this makes sense since I generally have reminders set with zero time
and actual appointment with some elapsed time.
