Calendar appointments go missing

I sometimes make appointments on someones behalf. I did one and a couple of
days later, its not there and when I replace the appointment, later the
previous one reappears and it tells me I have made 2 appointments for the
same time. How can I prevent this from happening again?

I have similar problems with gone appointments. Unfortunately I haven't
found a solution.

But maybe this can help you

1. close outlook (ensure that the process is gone)
2. start outlook with this parameter from the Run-dialogbox. : outlook
/cleanreminders
3. let outlook stay open for a minute or two and then reopen outlook.

(this has helped a lot of others with calendar problems, but not me.)
