Somehow my calculator was deleted off my computer. How
can I get that back on?

Try using System Restore to take your system back to time prior to when this
happened, Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

The executable for the Calculator is usually located here:
C:\Windows\System32\calc.exe
If the file is no longer there, then try to go to
add/remove programs and clcik on install windows
components (you'll need the CDROM)

Hi Krystal,

If you have only deleted the shortcut, you can go to start>run and type
"system32"(no quotes" click ok. Look for "calc", r-click and choose "send to
desktop" create shortcut. From there, you can move the shortcut wherever you
want.

Control panel---add/remove programs---on left side add/remove windows
components---under accessories you will find the calculator. Sometimes
removing the X, reboot, and then reselecting the calculator corrects
everything.

thanks Jax, this has helped me as well. I'm glad there
are boffins out there, I would be stumped otherwise

Cheers
