I'm running a a fresh install of XP Pro on a new Dell
Latitude D600 with all of the latest XP service packs. The
Windows XP calculator randomly opens up while I'm typing.
It doesn't happen when I'm in a particular application or
at a particular interval.
I've checked for shortcut keys and rogue programs running
on the system. All signs point to it not being virus-
related (I've run AV scans and checked the registry
through). Additionally, no strange processes are running
under taskmgr. I've also verified that the calc.exe isn't
set up as a screensaver or a scheduled task.
I'm really quite dumbfounded and would rather not rebuild
my system. Can anyone shed light on this? Have you seen
this before?
Thank you in advance,
