Calculating Time

I am working on a time management log that captures the time they
start and the time they stop in the spreadsheet. In another column I
use the =TEXT(F2-E2, "h:mm:ss") function to calculate the elapsed
time. How do I calculate the column of elapsed times?

Hi
in this other column don't use this formula as it creates a string
value. Use the formula
=F2-E2
and format this cell with the format hh:mm:ss

Now to add these data use a formula like
=SUM(G2:G10)
and format this cell with the custom format
[hh]:mm

note the '[' brackets. They prevent the rollover after 24 hours
