Cached Exchange Mode

Although my emails come through an exchange server they are stored on my
local machine. I want a copy to remain on the server so can I select Cached
Exchange Mode and will this copy my emails back to the server?
My main query, will this also copy any POP3 emails that I have stored locally?

No, these settings have nothing to do with your issue. Change the default
delivery location to the Exchange mailbox instead of using a pst-file.

Yep, but you can use rules to direct the mailes from that account to another
folder (read: pst-file) or create a separate mail profile for the accounts.
