In looking to resolve a problem, I consulted this NG - and found a reference
to KB821299.

In that article is says:
WORKAROUND
Follow these steps to work around this problem: 1. On the File menu, point
to Cached Exchange Mode.
2. Click Download Full Items.
Cached Exchange mode does not appear on my File Menu - any suggestions?
