Hello! I am looking for a document that lists what each CAB file contains.
I am also looking for the list of apps and .exe files that start up when XP
starts.

Hello! I am looking for a document that lists what each CAB file

Use a 3rd party file-archving tool. WinZip, 7-Zip, UltimateZip, or
any zipping tool should probably work as they all seem to handle .cab
files (there are no .cab folders, just .cab files). Of course, you
could use the 'extract.exe' command that Microsoft provides that you
can run in a DOS shell.

Have a look in bookstores for third party manuals on
XP published by Que or Osborne. Their manuals for
Win98 used to list this type of information.
