Help with CA Firewall and Vista

I currently have the home version of windows Vista and CA suite of virus
proteciton and firewall. I noticed that everytime I turn on my computer,
after a few minutes, I lose my internet connection. I've pinpointed the
problem to be connected to the CA Firewall. When I disengage it, my
internect connection regains. However when I engage the CA firewall again, I
again lose the internet connection. Does anyone have a fix to this? I hate
to run my computer w/o any firewall. I called the CA technical support, but
they've been no help and only refer people to the microsoft.com website to
search a solution.

If CA won't tell you how to add anything in the Exceptions list on your
profile(or you can't!) in their firewall, leave it turned OFF.

Use Vista's Firewall(simply turn it on). It IS quite good, and you don't
have probs with it

Are you running RTM or SP1?
