CA E-TRUST compatibility with W2K Terminal Server

Hi,

We are having this problem on a windows 2000 terminal server build. CA
e-trust antivrus is running on this TS and also Realtime monitoring in
enabled. The problem I am having is that as long as Realtime monitoring is
disabled, the server stays up but as soon as realtime monitoring is enabled,
the server reboots itself leaving event in the event log saying that the
previous system shutdown was unexpectedly.

Any Idea Please !!!

Thanks

You need to make sure your AV Product is certified for running on Terminal Server. The ones that I'm familiar with that are TS Certified are Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.6+ and Trend Server Protect 5.0+.

Check this site for compatibility of your specific version w/ Terminal Services and installation notes

We run Etrust V7 on ours with no problem at all. Make sure you are running the latest driver version. I had troubles with v6 until I upgraded the driver version
