Hello,

I have a problem, a small one maybe, but one that is
getting on my nerves.

Each time I log on to Windows XP Professional,
a "C:\Windows\System32" window keeps popping up in
maximised state.

I have to close it each time before being able to gain
access to my desktop and it's becoming quite annoying.

Does anyone know what the cause is for this and how I can
go about fixing it?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down
to Item No. 260. In the right column, click on "System32 Folder Opens
Upon Boot". Download this repair file and then run the repair.
