Hi,
In C:\Windows\Installer

When I have have found it, choose Properties. Select the
Security tab.
There is no Security tab, in Folder
options, turn off simple file sharing I have also Shown
hidden files and folder.

The object is, I am tryng to install command and conquer
generals and on instilation I receive an Error -1607:
Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Run Time

I have tried everything in the book and have even
contacted ea sports without success, I feel that the
problem may lie in the "Security tab" area as I need to
check if I have full control,please try to help as this
is doing my head in, many thanks... Chas

Make sure that the Installer folder in the Windows
directory on the machine is not read only. "WHICH IT IS"
and when I click the green square and apply, it returns
back to green..

This what I'M trying to achive...
