C Drive Volume Label

Donna

I am trying to convert from FAT32 to NTFS, and the command
prompt is asking me for the C drive "Volume Label", which
I cannot seem to find ANYWHERE. Could somebody tell me
where I can find it. I feel like such an idiot, but I
can't find it anywhere. Thanks, Donna ;o)

Open My Computer and the name beside (C:) is the volume label.
Example: Local Disk (C:) , so "Local Disk" is the volume label.

That makes two of us. LOL
Try right-clicking the C:\ drive in My Computer. Look
under the General tab. Whatever you see in the entry box
in line with the image of the drive is the label, I
think. I, also, think it used to say Label. Not any
more though.
