c.d. rom drives not reecognised anymore

hello,

I installed my second dvd writer, but forgot to change the master thingie,
so I connected two masters. After I had corrected the problem none of the two
worked again. In 'Computer' no cd rom drive is recognised now.

Can I get this right again?

Paul, retrace your steps. Go back to one Dvd drive and see if it works Ok.
Try a different Data Ribbon Cable.
