C:/D: Drives acting funny

Whenever I double click on my hard drives to open them, they automatically go
to the windows "search" function. In order to open the folders, I have to
right click on the icon and manually select "open". Also "open" is now
located underneath "search" when you right click. All other folders open the
right way.
hopefully someone here can help me out. I haven't installed any new
programs recently. I am using Firefox instead of Explorer, but have been for
quite sometime, so I don't think its that.
