Bypassign the user logon screen - GPEDIT.MSC?

Greetings to all ...

Under windows 2000, Control Panel, User accounts, the administrator
has the ability to uncheck the "users must enter a user name and
password to use this computer" checkbox. This feature disables the
logon screen upon Windows 2000 startup. I am doing this on a PC
here in my office ...

I have a need to do the same on another PC running under WindowsXP,
However, I cannot find this feature in WindowsXP. Can I use MMC
(gpedit.msc) to disable the user logon screen and if so which one?

If not, is there some other method I can use?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You don't disable the logon - you basically tell the system which user to
automatically login at start up. Yes, you can configure XP to do the same
thing. Which edition of XP are you running?

Hello Jack ... I am running XP Professional ...

How would I perform this action you've stated below?

Thanks for your quick response!
