bypass windows logon

If we have been locked out of a windows XP home system is
there a way to bypass the logon and disable the password?
We have run into problems with customers settign display
products passwords so we can't get into the machines. We
have started using a secound account to try and get around
this a little bit by giving us a secound way into the
system but it is a little too late for one of our systems
that is locked now. Any ideas on how to get the logon
password set to nothing or circumvented in some way.

thanks
Andrew

Does anyone know how to bypass the logon ? I accidently went from a business user to a home user and it will not validate the user/domain password now ... effectively locking me out.

after searching around the site I stumbled across this and it may help. I accidently took my laptop out of my corporate Domain and put it into a Home workgroup using one of the built in wizards. Once I rebooted I couldn't get any further than the login screen ..... Hope this helps. Here is the original link followed by the software link. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/se...t=&lang=en&cr=US&pt=&catlist=&dglist=&ptlist= Mesage:can't logon to empty workgroup.
