Bypass company firewall newsgroups

Any apps out there that I can try as there are some newsgroups that are
blocked by company (SonicWall) firewall. Spoke to Admin guy and although
we are using the same news-server, he says he can't see the newgroup
listed that I am wanting to access.
So am wondering if there is a way I can get round it.
BTW - it is a Manga (Japanese animation) interest newsgroup.

I don't know much about firewalls, but I'm pretty sure that you can't
block individual newsgroups with them. Ask your companies admin guy to
add rec.arts.manga to its news server.

If he can't do that, change the server in your newsreader. A good free
one is http://news.individual.net
