Bybass logon on

This morning I restarted my computers as the desk top
Icons did not appear as usual.

There is a little twist, I recently installed about a
month ago a fingerprint acuated mouse - I can log on with
my fingerprint but when asked for my password; it will not
accept it.

Is there any way to bypass the logon or reset my computer?

You can't bypass the login but if you can get in via your biometric scanner
you can reset your password in
control panel.
- user accounts

or
run
control userpasswords
