button linking

I created my own button. When I inserted it and pulled
the table that I wanted it to open... the table went
behind the button and I could not get it to come forward.
What can I do to correct this. (Access 2000)

I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean. How did you insert
this button? Did you use the command button wizard? What steps did you
follow?

I wonder if perhaps this button is on a form that has its Pop Up
property set to Yes. With the form open in design view, open the form's
property sheet and look on the Other tab. What value is specified for
the Pop Up property? If it's set to Yes, try changing it to No.
