button in taskbar won't close

Hi again,when I play Yahoo blackjack and try to close the different pages when I'm ready to quit one of the url buttons stays in the taskbar.It is the button for the java applet page.The button does nothing.the only way to get rid of it is to use ctrl alt delete then hit end task.
