Button errors on an access form.

I have made a form in access (with office 2000) and i've made the buttons
with the wizard, so there's nothing wrong with them.
but when i try to click on them access gives me the following error:

"The expression on click witch you gave up as a
propertie for the eventpropertke, has occured the following
error: there has been an error in the communication between
microsoft access and the OLE-sourceprogram or the activeX."

Sorry for the probably lousy translation but it was the best i could come up
with, because i get the error in dutch.
Does anybody know why this happens?

Would help to know what the buttons are supposed to do...
