Sometimes the Office helper makes its decision on its own withouth my consent.
See the following message:

"It looks like you don't want the Office Clipboard task pane to appear
automatically. To display this task pane again, click Office Clipboard on the
Edit menu."

I don't wish it to be auto-off. But my helper... How annoying it is. I have to
reactivate the auto function. But after a while, it helps me to turn off again.
The process repeats and repeats.

Apart from "killing" the office helper (ie disable/hide it completely), is there
any other workarounds?

Additional information:
- I'm using Office XP
- I'm using Windows XP

When clippy pops up, click the "Options" button. There you can disable what
parts you don't like. Personally, I turn him off completely and use the
"Index" TAB of the Help menu. Much better!
