I am running Outlook 2003 with Vista. I have the disc and tried to load
business contact manager. It says it is incompatible with this version of
windows.

Does this mean I have to upgrade to Office 2007 to be able to use business
contact manager?

Technically yes, because only BCM v3 (2007) is supported on Vista.

The reason is because some features in Sql Server 2000 (used by
earlier BCMs) won't work on Vista because of Vista's stricter
security.

BCM doesn't use any of those Sql features, so folks have run BCM 2003
working on Vista--after ignoring that message, or upgrading from Xp to
Vista.

However, if you go down this route, you may have to tweak some folder
permissions to get everything to work like it does on Xp (e.g. Backup
and restore).
