Business Contact Manager

I cannot access opportunities, reports and others in my business contact
manager.I have re-installed it but that didn't work. When I tried to enter a
business contact, the accounts button. I also have found that within the
contact , instead of seeing only those emails that apply to that person, all
of my inbox is listed below each name.

I also have tried to back up my contacts but an error message comes up
saying BCM doesn't allow it.

I am concerned that I will lose all of my personal folders with customer
emails and my business contacts. If I create a new profile, will I lose
everything? I wrote in previously but the info given didn't help with any
of my problems.

I have noted the same problem where all of my inbox is listed in the 'History
Field for an Account.
Can someone help both techrep and myself to ensure that only the History
related to that particular Account is visible from within that Account?
Sorry it's no 'help' techrep, but someone may have the answers...

Few questions/ ideas:
- are you using BCM V1 or V2?
- have you tried to clear the forms? (I believe there are many threads
here about this issue).

Julie,

This doesn't relate to this post, but maybe you've stopped watched the other
post - so I am repeating here. Appoligies to Techrep for hijiacking his post.

I have found something about the lists that show that might help you.

When you go into an account to add a primary contact the list which shows on
pressing the ... button only shows those who don't have an account set up in
their form. Those that do are shown by using the down arrow at the right of
the primary contact box. Similarly the Add... button in the Business
Contacts section of the Account form only shows people who are not allocated
to an account.

So if you are trying to allocate someone to an account from the accounts
form and can't find him/her. You have to go to the business contact form for
that person and make sure that they are not allocated to another account.

Does this make sense? Any help?
