I'm attempting to install Office 2003 Business Contact Manager, every time I
try to install it, I get an Error XXX at the same point - about 95% of the
way into the installation process during the "Status: Installing new
services"section. The error is "Their is not enough space on drive D:\ to
extract this package. Please free up 41.08 MB and click Retry." --I have
over 10GB of free space on that drive and on the E: drive where my office
install is??? and when I click cancel I get a Error 1722:

I can't understand what's going on, It's not like I'm even close an the disk
space so the error makes no since. Any suggestion on this would be
appreciated.

FYI - I have Visual Studio .Net 2003 and Office 2003 Professional installed
and nothing else (I'm doing a clean install), I haven't installed the MSDE
yet, when I set up VStudio.

Thanks in advance.

It's trying to install an update for the product and it's trying to install
from the E:\-disk. Either free up space there or do not choose to update it
after install and update manually after the installation.

This is a known MSDE installation error related to a particular section of the disk. In other words, the error message is a bit of a red herring. See http://support.microsoft.com/?id=829699 for information on workarounds and an available hotfix that you can get from calling Microsoft Support.
