Business Applications and WPF

I just purchased 2 books on WPF and am trying to understand it. I know
that it is going to be the future direction for .net apps but it seems to me
that it is designed more for high end graphics. Has anyone used it yet for
business apps? Is it stable enough for use? Are there enough controls out
there for it to be usable? Am I better off sticking to WinForms for now and
wait for the next release of WPF? I have a huge database/business app
project starting up and am debating whether to use WPF or WinForms. Can
anybody give me any compelling reasons for moving to WPF at this point in
time?

It's pretty stable, but I would not use it now because integration into
VS.NET (designers) is missing. In addition, note that some controls such as
DateTimePicker and DataGridView are currently not supported by WPF.
Nevertheless, WPF is clearly the future UI technology for Windows.

Which books?
Sams Windows Presentation Foundation Unleashed (Adam Nathan) is excellent.
WPF is very stable. And deeper and more complex than you can imagine. It
does have great multimedia and 3D capabilities, but is also great for
business apps. We have jumped in wholeheartedly and wont look back.

Biggest problem is lack of commercially available expertise - so you have to
grow your own.
