Burning problem

I wonder if anyone could help me. Everytime I try to burn
a cd,things seem to work out,but after a while I receive
a message saying energy calibration error and the proces
is interrupted. Is there something I could do about
this,or is it more likely to be a hardware problem ? My
CD-R/DVD functions normally otherwise though.

It's more likely hardware, or mismatch between the burner and
the particular media.
