burning images to cd with xp

Hi, Please please help me!!!
I have no problem burning music files to cd but when it
comes to burning documents and images to cd, i get so far
and when it comes to burning the images the message that
comes up always says there is no disc in the drive for
copying when clearly there is , i thought it may the the
type of copying disc but i have tried several different
makes, please can you help
