burning dvds

i was just wondering if someone could tell me how to burn dvds. i have a hp pavilion a450
carmen
 
Doesn't matter what you have as long as you have a DVD Burner.

I use Nero Burning Rom.....have never burned a coaster with
it...(knock on wood)...
