Burning DVD's in MyDVD 8

Hello;

Can anyone tell me if the product from SONIC MyDVD 8 Essentials it's
compatible with MM2 and PhotoStory 3.1.

I use MyDVD 8 Premier, which can use both MM2 and PS3 movies and
stories..... so I'm guessing the Essentials version is just as compatible
for file types.
