I would like to burn some of my music from my CDs on my
computer by using the smallest amount of space. I know
that MP3 format uses the least, but still I don't know
how to do this. Someone please help?
thank you

Just to clarify the terminology: extracting music files to your HDD is
referred to as "ripping," not burning. This freeware program will do the
job nicely: http://www.cdex.n3.net/ The bitrate of the resulting mp3 files
determines their file size but the lower the bitrate, the lower the audio
quality. Don't go any lower than 128kbps for music files.

Regards,
Ian.
