How do I burn an ISO image to CD without just ending up with the single ISO
file burnt. Thank You, Dave

You purchase an application capable of burning ISOs - Windows has no
capability to do this natively. I use Nero, but there are many others.

I want to make a comment that you might want to use Nero instead of Roxio.
I had to take an expensive Roxio software package off and replace it with
Nero. I have had no problems with Nero. I have heard from others that
Roxio does not play well with XP and it gave me too many headaches. The Nero
has worked flawlessly!

Hi

I've had no problems with Roxio - and it includes a lot more 'stuff' than
Nero does!!

I have both...no problems with either (if you keep 'em updated).

And "neat stuff" is when some of them are actually useful! :)

Strangely enough, my 7 year old granddaughter dredged that up just recently,
as in "She (her little girlfriend) has some really neat stuff!" :)
(I'll venture that "really neat stuff" must be something that
serendipitously is both useful AND something that you wanted in the first
place.)

You need to use a program that burns the complete CD as an image - for
example in Nero it appears for some reason on the Recorder menu; Burn
Image (and you will have to adjust the File type to All files when you
look for the ISO). If you do not have such a program, see
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

The original version does not work with SP2, but there is a new one,
officially still 'Beta 2' that does, and it is a free tool

In that case, it's "cool."
