Burning a DVD

I'm using Windows movie maker and Sonic DLA to burn my video on to a dvd.
I've already made the video successfully and it takes me through almost the
entire process of burning the DVD...but it stops when formatting the DVD. All
it tells me is that there was a general error and it doesn't go into detail.
I'm using a DVD+RW which is what it's asking me to use, and I've also tried a
few different ones. Do you know what the error could be with formatting the
disc???

Try a different manufacturer of DVDs..... and check with the website of the
drive manufacturer which DVDs it prefers. Brands can be very different.

Hey Kathy Watson, a RW is usually a Re writable over and over. Can you
borrow a -R and also a +R and test with those?
