How I can use bullets & numbering in excel 2000 same as MS Word.

You can't. XL doesn't have that functionality.

Depending on what you're trying to do, you can mimic some aspects,
either through worksheet functions or VBA.

I just posted a similar question in the excel general questions group. You
can insert a symbol as I did for a bullet such as: 1a) etc but I am trying
to do it in an easier way. Perhaps someone will answer my question too.

However keep in mind that Excel and Microsoft Word are two different
programs. Within Word you can split up a cell into more cells within a cell,
you cannot do that in Excel, just like Word does not lend itself well to doing
spreadsheet calculations.
