Bullets - PowerPoint 2007

The bullets in my PowerPoint bullet list are blank. I hover over each box
and it says it is a specific bullet (i.e. checkmark, star, etc) but nothing
shows. When I click to use that bullet, it aligns but no bullets show.
Tried adjusting color, etc...HELP!!

Make sure that you use no White for one of the six accent colors of the
design colors. Make sure that the font Wingdings is installed (and not
corrupt).

Best regards,
Ute

I think there can be more than one reason for bullets disappearing. So there
will be more than one solution, too.

To start with: Did you try the tipps I gave "MzSantaBabe"? Did they show any
results?

Best regards,
Ute

Yes I did. I copied the wingdng fonts from a pc that was working to the one
that is not, but it didn't work. I've searched the registry and the program
files directory, but can't find anything that stands out.

What do you use as a bullet? A character from WingDings? If so, which one?
What happens, if you use a picture bullet instead of that? Does it show? Or
a simple dash from the standard font, formatted in black? Does that show?

Best regards,
Ute

I have the exact same problem as MzSantaBabe. The problem is only on
Powerpoint 2007. The bullets work fine in Word 2007. Any more ideas?

So, did you try any of the suggestions that were mentioned in the thread?

Yes, I copied a working Wingdings font to the computer that has the
problem and it made no difference. Also, I checked the add-ins and
they are the same as on working computers. Any more suggestions or
ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, thanks. I would make sure you have a Windows-certified printer driver
installed and set as the default printer on the problem computer. Here are

That fixed it. The printer that was set as default was creating the
problem. I switched to a different printer and the bullets work
fine. Thank you for your help.
